Wooten Park Beautification Project – Spring 2025

Location: Wooten Neighborhood Park
Join us for a community volunteer day to enhance the beauty of Wooten Park! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together, connect with neighbors, and make a positive impact on our local environment and park!
Planned Activities:
- Weeding the Corner Garden: We will be clearing out pesky weeds from the corner garden to allow the flowers and plants to thrive. Bring gloves and any tools you might have, such as hand trowels or weeders.
- Mulching Trees: We’ll spread fresh mulch around the base of trees throughout Wooten Park. This helps retain moisture and improves the overall health of our trees while giving the park a tidy appearance.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for outdoor work
- Work gloves
- Any gardening tools you can lend (we’ll also have some supplies on hand)
- Water and snacks to keep your energy up
