The Wooten Neighborhood Association has officially launched their Sponsorship Program. This program is to help run the association and provide more events to connect our community and support those in the neighborhood.
What is the Sponsorship Program?
The Sponsorship Program allows individuals and businesses in and around the neighborhood to show their support for their community. Those who participate in the program receive free advertising in our quarterly newsletter, are recognized on our dedicated sponsorship page, and are mentioned on our social media. Depending on sponsorship level, they may have an opportunity to talk to us about their business at Wooten Event or Meeting.
What’s the Purpose?
Our neighborhood is evolving, including more businesses relocating (or starting) here and building more homes. This has led to more interest in our activities and requires us to review previous actions and programs that were started by the neighborhood. When we went to look for those artifacts, we found them littered all over the place and some were in multiple places!
While we had more interest in our activities, a large portion of the neighborhood still cannot connect with the Wooten Neighborhood Association (WNA) due to our limited technology capabilities.
We also want to host more events like the Wooten Holiday Contest, Wootenanny(ie), and our Cocoa & Caroling.
The money received from the program allows the Wooten Neighborhood Association to improve its digital footprint, increase its outreach, and support these (and future) neighborhood events.
